The Role

You are the senior technical leader responsible for:

  • Lead the development of the On Time Bride platform

  • Work closely with the Founder on technical and product priorities

  • Have the opportunity to help shape the future of the technology and business

  • Architect, build, ship and support features across the entire tech stack

  • Help grow the team (when we get there!), set technical standards, and establish the 

What You’ll Bring

We don't expect candidates to check all of these boxes, but we do think someone will need to cover most of them to be successful in this role. 

  • 8+ years of experience as a software engineer, solving a variety of problems. You've probably spent some or all of that time in startups as a product engineer. 

  • You've spent a lot of time with one or more products, have seen how decisions play out over time, and understand the tradeoffs 

  • You are competent across the full stack - from infrastructure, backend, API development, frontend - and are an expert in at least one of those domains

  • Ability to operate autonomously, and make good decisions for the technology and business in an uncertain environment

  • Strong communication skills, with both a technical and non-technical audience

  • Nice to have: Production experience with NodeJS, React and mobile apps
